I first met Richard Dagge from The Concierge Keys, in 2019 when he was introduced to us by a family friend. At that time, we needed help taking our daughters to appointments and after school activities. Richard quickly mobilized to support our needs. He proved to be reliable, respectful and a great communicator. When we added 2 dogs to our family, we asked Richard if he would help with their care while we were at work and when we traveled. We know that we can call on Richard for almost anything and he will be there for us. We cannot imagine not having The Concierge Keys in our lives.

Richard Dagge of The Concierge Keys is hands down THE BEST pet and home sitter anyone will ever find.   

Trust - He is very trustworthy and reliable.   I trust him so much that he has a permanent key to my house (and my friend's home who recommended him as well).    He is always super responsive any time I need anything and updates me regularly when he visits my house so that I never wonder how my home or animals are doing. Positive, cheerful energy radiates from him even in texts which always makes me smile.   

Love and Life Saving Care  - My animals (cat and dog) really love him.  My dog is fairly sensitive to new people, but he warmed up to Richard immediately.    When my cat had an eye infection and I was about to leave for a business trip, Richard jumped in to take her to the vet and wrestle to put eye drops in her eye 3 times a day.  He saved her eye and maybe her life.  He truly loves animals, and they love him. 

Total home care - He goes way above and beyond "pet sitting".   He really watches over my entire home while I'm away since I travel for work quite frequently for a week(s) at a time.  On this trip, I really needed help tending to my unconventional “pets” - Kombucha live cultures and seedlings for my garden.  We joked that he is now sitting my bacteria, fungus, and plant pets!  As usual, Richard jumped in and was happy to help me in any way he could.  He also turned on my water to drip to prevent frozen pipes when I was away and there was a cold snap.  He even takes out my bins on trash days.  

Easy and Flexible - He is very flexible and makes it easy for me to pay in a way that works for me by paying for particular trips or buy packages of visits.  When I have unplanned trips come up, he is always happy to help.    He provides easy tracking / communication when I need to purchase more.  

I really don’t know what I would do without Richard and The Concierge Keys.   Knowing my home and my animals are safe in his hands is invaluable.   We have had a relationship for years now and I hope that he will be part of our lives for many years to come.

This letter is to serve as a character reference for Richard Dagge.

We have known Richard for the past 7 years. He began working for us a dog sitter and over the years he has become our number one go to person for not just the dogs but taking care of our home and all related issues when we travel. Our dogs, Pumpkin and Tallie get all excited when he walks in, so we know he is very good to them.

        
We trust Richard implicitly with all our valuables every time he moves into our house which is just about every 2-3 months. He has bailed me out of multiple crises & come to take care of our dogs on short notice. He always happily does anything I ask, like watering newly planted bushes, picking up packages, handling garbage pick -up, etc.

Richard is reliable as the day is long. He has never cancelled on us. Even after moving pretty far away, he still comes to take care of our dogs. It took us years to find someone we trusted. When we are on family vacations, he sends pictures of our dogs to our daughters because he knows they miss their babies. He keeps us abreast of anything unusual that he knows we would want to hear about and he respects our many weird rules inside our house. We leave him with 7 pages of instructions. We would be lost if he ever wasn't available. It is so difficult to find reliable, ethical, hard-working, trustworthy people.

I will also add that I am quite high maintenance and a micromanager. I am very particular almost to the point of annoying, and yet Richard accommodates all my request with a smile. He never complains or criticizes. He really is one of a kind. We could not recommend him more highly.
